Our Story Begins in the Vineyard

We started in a small family vineyard, driven by a passion for winemaking. Each bottle carries the taste of tradition and handcrafted quality.

Our Journey Begins from here

Our journey began in the late 1980s with two brothers and a shared dream. Late Mr. Suraj Prakash Sadana , the elder of the two, began his humble career as a  liquor salesman in the retail counter.  Armed with resilience, grit, and an unshakable work ethic, he laid the first stones of what would one day become one of Central India’s most respected and diversified business groups.

In 1988, Mr .Suraj Prakash Sadana was joined by his younger brother, the late Mr. Madhav Prakash Sadana, who stepped into the business world after completing his education. Together, they formally established their venture, driven by an entrepreneurial spark and an unwavering commitment to quality and trust. While they diversified into various industries : including liquor retail, Distribution and Bottling Operations , automobile sales, distribution of oils and lubricants, and the restaurant and bar business , their core strength and true passion always remained in the alcohol trade.

By the early 1990s, the Sadana family had built a formidable presence in the liquor industry. Their credibility and consistent performance earned them authorised distributorships for several iconic brands such as Herbertsons, Shaw Wallace, London Pilsner, Inertia, Tilaknagar Industries, Khoday India Limited, and United Spirits Limited. Operating across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, and Punjab their business expanded to include bottling, wholesale distribution, and retail — establishing them as a trusted name across the region.

Their excellence in operations and deep-rooted relationships with stakeholders led to exclusive roles as sole C&F agents and marketing partners for multiple liquor brands across more than five Indian states. From running successful bottling operations till date at JBP  to managing 15 plus retail liquor outlets across Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the name Sadana’s  became synonymous with quality and integrity in the industry.

Beyond alcohol, the group also made strategic forays into other sectors. They became authorised distributors and dealers for leading national brands such as Castrol India Limited, Lohia Machines Limited (two-wheelers), VIP Industries (luggage), Titan Industries (watches), Liberty Footwear, and others  creating a legacy of versatility and growth.

The legacy was carried forward by the next generation, with Mr. Manoj kumar Sadana  son of Mr. Suraj Prakash Sadana stepping into leadership. Having learned the ropes of the family business from a young age, Mr .Manoj brought a modern, strategic vision to the table. Under his guidance, the group expanded further, strengthening its footprint across India and reinforcing its reputation as a powerhouse in the liquor trade. With his stewardship, the group evolved into what is now known as Rishman Group Of Companies  a name that continues to leave its mark across industries.

Today, the third generation is stepping in, with Mr. Sreshth Manav Sadana  a graduate from Kingston University , London. Having absorbed a wealth of insights and hands-on guidance from his father across liquor retail, distribution, and bottling operations, he has now successfully channelled that experience into the creation of a premium line of products .His focus on branding, innovation, and vertical integration has led the group into its most ambitious chapter yet.

From bottling for renowned brands in the past, the company is now launching its own line of premium liquor products — seamlessly integrating operations from manufacturing to the retail shelf.

At its heart, Rishman Group remains a family-driven enterprise  rooted in tradition, strengthened by decades of experience, and propelled by a clear vision for the future. Our story  from truck drivers and salesmen to industry pioneers  is a tribute to hard work, resilience, and a passion for excellence that pours into every bottle we bring to the market.
